Taylor Herrick Recruitment are proud to be working with a high end, award winning house builder who're looking for an Architectural Designer to join them on a permanent basis in Cambridgeshire.
This position is for a qualified Architect with at least 3 years post- qualification experience and they should be able to show their experience of working in the residential sector with a portfolio of work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of feasibility scheme designs and detailed designs for planning applications. They will be expected to critique design schemes that are prepared by external consultants to ensure that agreed design and planning standards are met and development potential is maximised.
Other key responsibilities include:
-Manage Planning Applications to achieve agreed programmes and maximise both the opportunity of planning success and to maximise development potential
-Manage and advise Junior members of the Design Team
-Liaise and negotiate with Local Authorities to maximise development potential of individual schemes
-Provide Design Detailing support on individual projects
-Ensure that the company's procedures are followed and ensure that all information produced is in line with agreed protocols
-Boast high quality design on all projects
-Liaise with external Consultants, Stakeholders and Development Partners positively to maintain and enhance the Company’s reputation as a quality house builder
Knowledge of the following software is required:
-Revit Architecture (preferred)
-AutoCAD/Auto CAD LT
The candidate should demonstrate a time interest in and evidence of creating high quality architecture through their portfolio of work.
