An established transport planning consultancy based in the West Midlands are on the lookout for a Transport Consultant to join their expanding team to work on a range of development projects for local authorities and private developers.
This consultancies work is widely renowned for its high quality, innovation and insight. They have previously worked on projects around the world and have a great team spirit and love to develop their employees skills and abilities.
Role and Responsibilities:
In this role you can expect to manage a range of small-medium transportation planning projects from inception through to completion, under the guidance of the project director. You will also be Liaising with key stakeholders on a regular basis to present information to them about the projects you are working on.
You will be required to manage and manipulate transport data sets to support larger projects across all areas of transport planning, using software such as TRICS and TEMPro. In addition to this you will be preparing transport assessments, travel plans and bespoke client documentation. Undertake junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY and LinSig.
To be considered for this position you must have at least 2 years experience in a Transport Planning role in a consultancy setting, working on a range of projects. You must also be comfortable engaging with clients and external stakeholders. In addition to this you must be proficient in the following software: LinSig, Arcady, Picady and TRICS. Experience using AutoCAD would be a distinct advantage.
