We are currently working with an established and growing house builder who is building premium new homes across the Midlands, North and South West and North Wales.

This privately owned developer is looking to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic Civil Engineer for their technical team on a permanent basis.

As a Civil Engineer, you will coordinate and manage external consultants who will be responsible for the design of highways, drainage, services, groundwork’s, landscaping, infrastructure and all associated ancillary works for housing developments throughout the Midlands region. You will ensure that all works are constructed to the agreed specification and completed within budget, to also achieve adoption by relevant Authorities or handover to private management companies. This position will report directly to the Technical Manager.

This position would suit a Civil Engineering professional who possess’ good communication skills, good all-round knowledge of site development, construction of roads, sewers and foundations for residential developments as well as a good understanding of road & sewer adoption processes.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a degree or equivalent in a civil engineering or a construction related subject. Previous experience of working for a house builder or construction company in a similar role within a technical department is desired. You must have experience of using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office packages.

In return, this house builder is offering a competitive salary plus package (negotiable dependent on individual experience).
