A successful, regional house builder is growing and as a result they are looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer for their new West Midlands office located in the Worcestershire region.
As this new region develops, they aim to build circa 400 units per annum between two Midlands regions. The West Midlands patch will cover a 50-mile radius north, south, east and west from Worcester.
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will report to and work closely with the regional Technical Manager. You will be responsible for appointing and coordinating technical information from external consultants and other regional offices. You will be expected to manage multiple projects at one time from land appraisals stage through to completion.
The person they appoint should demonstrate strong organisational skills, a good knowledge of house building and the consultation process, excellent communication skills both written and verbal and have the ability to work alone, under your own steam and as part of a team. You should be able to communicate effectively at all levels both with external consultants and internal departments.
To be considered for this position, you must have previous experience of working with a house builder or consultancy who provide services to residential developers. Hold a HND / HNC in Building Studies / Construction or any other equivalent qualifications. The ability to use AutoCAD is essential.
