This year the government launched an invaluable campaign to encourage the next generation to get into the Engineering industry. Engineering offers a valuable skill set which can lead to a stable and secure future.

The government is also encouraging more females to think about pursuing Engineering as a potential career too. They have partnered up with a range of organisations, schools and Engineers to put in place a range of workshops and activities that will be happening up and down the country, throughout the year of 2018.

A lot of these events are also happening in school holidays, this is a great opportunity to take your children along to one of the family Engineering events that are happening. The events are all very interactive, there are plenty of hands on exciting activities.

If you an Engineering professional and would be interested in making a difference and inspiring the next generation to become a part of the Engineering industry, you can register your interest here to be a part of the campaign:  https://www.yearofengineering.gov.uk/register-partner

If you would like to attend one of the many events that are happening this year, view what’s taking place in your city here: https://www.yearofengineering.gov.uk/inspired
