Employer Engagement Consultant
An established employment provider is seeking to expand its employer engagement team in Wolverhampton, Black Country.

You will be sales savvy and have proven experience of building employer relations within the local region. You will be a strong networker who is pro-active, highly motivated and works strategically to build rapport and build relationships with key contacts within businesses, promoting the services of welfare to work.
As well as a strong sales or recruitment background, you will have a good understand of welfare to work and employability as well as being able to demonstrate a caring understanding, but firm nature towards the long-term unemployed service users.
You will need to hold a full driving licence and have access to a car as this role will involve travel.
As an Employer Engagement Consultant you will identify and develop new employment opportunities, including work placements and vacancies. The role acts as a job matching position, building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, employers and other stakeholders providing access to work.
Core Responsibilities
• Achieve agreed performance targets for the role.
• Work with customers, colleagues, partners and employers to achieve job outcomes that are sustained and meet with the job goals and aspirations of customers
• Provide an individually tailored service for all customers, based on their job goals and aspirations which will lead to customers starting and sustaining work
• Support customers with job searching activities, build rapport and motivate the customer to achieve the required outcome.
• Work with employers to develop a wide range of work focused opportunities for our customers.
• Deliver a high quality service for customers and employers, with the principle of ‘right job first time’ delivering long term job sustainability
In return, to accompany your own succession path, this provider offers a healthy salary of up to 23,000.
Their supported employment programme is still very much in its infancy, but they are growing fast with promotion scope to Team leader level within the next 6 months.
